By accessing and using EasyKanban, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

EasyKanban provides a web-based kanban board application for organizing tasks, projects, and ideas. The service includes both free and paid subscription tiers with varying features.

3. User Accounts

To use EasyKanban, you must create an account via GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your GitHub account
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Free and Pro Plans

Free Plan: Includes unlimited boards with unlimited cards and columns. No credit card required.

Pro Plan: $9/month, includes unlimited boards and additional features. Billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time.

5. Payment Terms

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. If you cancel, you will retain Pro features until the end of your billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use EasyKanban to:

Violate any laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights
Upload malicious code or attempt to hack the service
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Use the service for spam or unauthorized commercial purposes

7. Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create in EasyKanban (boards, cards, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Data Backup & Loss

While we take regular backups, we are not responsible for any data loss. We recommend exporting important boards regularly (Pro feature).

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the settings page.

11. Disclaimers

EasyKanban is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasyKanban shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
